Tony is an entrepreneur who has worked in the remodeling, real estate, and consulting industries. He started his own remodeling company in 1987 and grew it into one of the largest Midwest companies of its kind, with over 50 employees and annual sales of over $5,000,000.00. After selling that company, he authored various programs designed to help home remodeling companies prosper, and has worked as a consultant conducting training seminars for some of the largest remodeling companies in the United States.

Tony lives in St. Charles, Missouri with his wife, Sheri, and their three sons. He owns a farm in northern Missouri, which allows him to pursue his other interests, including hunting, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors.

James Harper has been married to his wife Jana for 12 years, and together they have a total of 4 children.  After becoming a Christian at the age of 38, James committed his life to following Christ, and is presently using his gifts of service and evangelism as the functioning "missions pastor" of The Outpost Church, including initiatives within the recovery community, the poor and disenfranchised of St. Charles County, as well as foreign missions.  In 2007 James and Jana founded Big Feast Ministries, which is a ministry focused on feeding and helping the poor.  They are currently providing meals in St. Charles every Saturday and Sunday, and in addition, provide a "feast" on Thanksgiving Day that fed over 1,000 people in 2010.  James currently owns his own remodeling company, and is pursuing his formal ministry degree at Covenant Theological Seminary.

The information written above about Tony Ingrassia and James Harper is the "official" information we're supposed to include on the website, but here's the real deal with Tony and James.  They are two deeply broken men whose lives have included the ugliness and shame of failures such as alcoholism, sexual addiction, drug addiction, adultery, divorce, homelessness, and incarceration, among other things.  That's the bad news.  But the good news these men are experiencing is proclaimed in Psalm 147:3 - He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.  We believe this is our greatest "credential" within the Kingdom of God.  Not college degrees, or books written, or ministries started.  But living proof that God Almighty has the power to bring His light, truth, healing, redemption, restoration, and Kingdom to the most wounded, broken, confused, disoriented, and messed up people on this planet.  In fact, this is the essence of the gospel we believe God has commissioned us to preach through The Outpost Church: God's ability to bring His life to our places of death.  We believe that if God can help, heal, and redeem Tony and James messed up lives, there has to be hope for everybody and anybody else.  It's our hope God might use the brokenness and redemption of our "stories" to inspire hope in others for the power of the gospel for their lives and situations.  If you would like to hear more about either one of our "stories", just let us know.  We would love to share more with you.
